This meeting Cameron and Carlos presented information on Swing Trading and Relative Strength Index (RSI). Club discussed what RSI can be used for, what it can indicate and how it is calculated. Club looked at different examples of RSI for different stocks and talked about how it is a lagging indicator that is best used in conjunction with other indicators.
Carlos (shown below) talked about selling spreads of different stocks utilizing the “Wheel Trading Strategy”. Discussed how lucrative selling spreads can be if the person has a large holding of shares already or if the person has interest in acquiring shares.
Club touched on different fundraising ventures to obtain some money for our investing account. The club talked about different options like a bake sale, movie concessions or a T-shirt sale to raise funds.
Club discussed the market this week as well as the stocks that saw large growth or reduction and what caused these changes.
